IBA Detroit Office and Incubator

The most immediate project is the development of office space for the IBA Detroit Community Development Corporation and other groups we partner with in the community. The renovated bank facility known as Uptown Livernois Office Centre, features 9,500 sq. ft. studio, office, and co-workspace for small businesses, startups, and NGO groups wanting to be located north in the neighborhood along the Livernois Avenue corridor in a modern office center located in the community. The planned office center will be renovated to smart building standards with the goal of being 100% off the grid which will add cost to the project in the beginning but rapidly reduces operating costs and increases profitability in half the time of the traditional office development project.

Moreover, as a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax credits accrue that can further reduce the project cost. All of the resources, professional services, products, and equipment needed to complete this project are available locally in Detroit and Wayne County, creating the economic velocity locally to further support and drive economic growth in the city and support re-development in the neighborhoods where such investment is wanted and needed. The envisioned IBA Detroit Community Development Corporation Office and Co-Work Centre [Uptown Livernois Officentre] is a planned project to be completed in the coming year.
